Seasonal Snow Removal Contracts in Guelph
A seasonal contract is one flat price for the whole winter: every qualifying snowfall from roughly November 1 to mid-April, cleared without you calling anyone. It's how most driveways on our routes are serviced, and it's the option that gets priority when a storm stacks up.
Request a quote once — free, no obligation — and we'll come back with a seasonal number for your property, usually within 1 business day.

How a seasonal contract works
You sign once in the fall. The contract sets the trigger depth (usually around 5 cm), what's included (driveway, walkway, steps, windrow, optional salting and sidewalk), and the service window after snow ends. Then it just happens, storm after storm, no per-visit invoices.
Payment is typically one or two installments, or monthly over the season. Anyone asking for full cash up front with no written terms should be a red flag — a real contract spells out triggers, inclusions, and timing in writing.
Seasonal vs. per-visit, honestly
Per-visit looks cheaper in a mild winter and costs more in a heavy one; seasonal is the same number either way. The real difference is priority: when 30 cm lands overnight, contract customers get cleared first because their driveways were committed to a route back in October.
If your car can sit for a day after a storm, per-visit may suit you. If you commute every morning, work shifts, or have anyone in the house who can't be snowed in, seasonal is the right call.
When Guelph routes fill up
Each route is capped at what one truck or crew can clear in a single pass. Popular subdivisions — Westminster Woods, Clairfields, Kortright Hills, Grange Hill East — fill first because the driveways are dense and the routes efficient. Fall is when the spots go; by the first storm, most good routes are closed.
A quote request now is free and doesn't commit you to anything. It just means when you're ready to sign, there's a number and a spot with your name on it.
Seasonal contracts — common questions
What does a seasonal snow contract cost in Guelph?
Most single and double driveways in Guelph land around $400-$700 for the season, depending on driveway size, snow storage space, and add-ons like salting or sidewalk clearing. Request a quote for a firm number on your address.
What dates does a seasonal contract cover?
Typically November 1 through April 15, though contracts vary. Early-season storms in late October and the odd April dump are the details worth confirming in the written terms.
How many visits do I get?
Unlimited qualifying visits — every snowfall at or above the trigger depth is cleared. That's the point of seasonal: the risk of a heavy winter sits with us, not you.
What's a trigger depth?
The accumulation at which the truck rolls — commonly around 5 cm in Guelph. Below that, most contracts don't dispatch (that's what walkway salting add-ons handle). Lower-trigger contracts exist and cost more.
Can I still get a contract after the season starts?
Sometimes — routes occasionally have gaps, or capacity gets added mid-season. Prices are rarely better mid-season and choices are fewer. Send a request either way and we'll see what has room.
How do I pay?
Typically one or two installments, or monthly across the season — the schedule is set out in the written contract before you sign. No full-season cash up front without written terms, ever.
